We’re Freshfully, the grocery store that sells only local food. We’re in the Avondale neighborhood of Birmingham, and we also sell online from farmers in Birmingham, Nashville, and Mobile.
I wanted to let you know about our upcoming event to support the Alabama Sustainable Agriculture Network, the grassroots organization of small farmers in Alabama.
“Farmer in the ‘Dale” will have chefs, farmers, and local food lovers swaying to Friday on My Mind, enjoying a photography display from Julie Hunter, and learning how to make goat cheese and sushi! Of course, you’ll have lots to eat, including shrimp from Alabama Gulf Seafood and beer from Avondale Brewing Company.
That same night, our neighbors at the Painted Shovel are hosting a seed swap, while Bob Marley’s band The Wailers will perform at Avondale Brewing Company.
