Take Pride Statewide

The Green Resource Center for Alabama partnered with Auntie Litter this past July to bring the second annual Take Pride Statewide Conference for Litter Prevention.  The conference provides an opportunity for cities and towns all across the state to come together and learn ideas, techniques and gain inspiration to bring litter prevention programs to their hometowns.  Learn more by visiting the Take Pride Statewide website.

Saving Our Water Conference
Held March 25, 2008

This conference seeks to educate attendees about the sources of water for the Birmingham Region, how water is used in the region, and how water efficiency and conservation can help ensure adequate, cost-effective supply in the face of growing demand. Participants will leave the conference with a better understanding of where our water comes from, how our water is used, whether our priorities are consistent with our uses, and how we can conserve water most efficiently. The conference will identify opportunities for continuing cooperation between all interested parties in the Region.  See flier below for details.
